Chevrolet Citation Engines by Year

The front-drive Citation replaced the Nova for 1980 and sold more than 800,000 copies in its first year. It used GM's 2.5 Iron Duke four and the new 60-degree 2.8 V6, with a high-output 2.8 in the X-11. The Pontiac Phoenix, Oldsmobile Omega and Buick Skylark were X-body twins with the same engines.
