Honda Prelude Engines by Year

Honda's Prelude coupe was sold in the US from 1979 to 2001 over five generations, and the name returned for 2026 on a two-motor hybrid. Its 1990s H22 VTEC engines are favorites with builders. Hybrid ratings are for engine and motors combined.
