Land Rover Defender Engines by Year

The original Defender was sold in the US only for 1993–1997, with the Rover 3.9 and 4.0 V8. The new Defender returned for 2020 with a 2.0 four, a 3.0 mild-hybrid six and later a supercharged 5.0 V8 and the OCTA's 4.4 twin turbo.
