Porsche Boxster / Cayman Engines by Year

Porsche's mid-engine Boxster roadster arrived for 1997 and the Cayman coupe for 2006. Both used water-cooled flat-sixes until the 718 generation switched the regular models to turbocharged flat fours for 2017; the GTS, Spyder and GT4 kept six cylinders.
