Ford LTD Engines by Year

The LTD started as the top Galaxie 500 for 1965 and became Ford's top full-size line through the 1970s, with V8s from the 289 to the 460. The mid-size LTD II ran for 1977–1979, and for 1983–1986 the LTD name moved to a Fox-body mid-size sedan. The 1980–1991 LTD Crown Victoria is on the Crown Victoria page.
